- I never considered there would be any SS or Medicare for me by the time I retire. I'm a couple years away from it. My hubby and I worked our a$$es off since we were kids to get where we are. So I'm not apologizing for "sitting on trillions of assets." A lot of my contemporaries did, too.

- I had my purse stolen out of the office where I worked once, by a woman who was a client seeking legal help on a claim by her ex that she was an unfit mother (Guess what? She was). My story had a happy ending. I caught up with her at the elevator, just as the doors were closing.
